What is TLS?
TLS is an encryption standard. In order to provide the highest level of security our site requires that you use a device that has is using TLS1.1 or higher. Today, all recent versions of the major browsers provide the option to user TLS1.1 and higher.
Exactly what browsers/version will provide the option for TLS1.1 and higher?
Internet Explorer: 9 and higher
Chrome: 41 and higher
FireFox: 36 and higher
Opera: 27 and higher
Safari: 7 and higher
Are there older versions of operating systems/ browser combinations that will not support TLS 1.1 & higher?
Yes. Windows XP and Windows Vista are only capable of upgrading up to Internet Explorer version 8. Therefore, users of these operating systems using Internet Explore as their browser will not be able to make payments. However, they would have the option of loading the latest version of another browser such as Chrome* or Firefox. *Chrome has announced that they will end new updates for Windows XP as of April 2015.
